About Us

Established in 1937 , GOVT. GIRLS INTER COLLEGE is a government-run educational institution managed by the Department of Education. Situated in a rural area within the ETAWAH NAGAR CHETRA block of the ETAWAH district in Uttar Pradesh, the school offers education from Grades 6 to 12 exclusively for girls. It operates on a non-Ashram model and maintains a single shift schedule. The medium of instruction is Hindi, and the academic session commences in April each year. The school is accessible via all-weather roads.

Facilities and Infrastructure

विद्यालय एक सरकारी भवन में स्थित है, जिसमें पाँच सुव्यवस्थित कक्षाएँ शैक्षणिक उद्देश्यों के लिए समर्पित हैं और दो अतिरिक्त कक्षाएँ गैर-शैक्षणिक गतिविधियों के लिए हैं। एक अलग कमरा प्रधानाध्यापक/शिक्षक के लिए निर्धारित है। परिसर एक पक्का बाउंड्री वाल से सुरक्षित है और विश्वसनीय बिजली आपूर्ति है। पीने का पानी कार्यात्मक हैंड पंपों से प्राप्त होता है।

The school is housed in a government-owned building, featuring five well-maintained classrooms dedicated to instructional purposes and two additional rooms for non-teaching activities. A separate room is designated for the Headmaster/Teacher. The premises are secured with a pucca boundary wall and have a reliable electricity supply. Drinking water is sourced from functional hand pumps.

Sanitation and Utilities

संस्था में लड़कियों के लिए पाँच कार्यात्मक शौचालय हैं, हालांकि लड़कों के लिए कोई शौचालय नहीं है। खेल के मैदान की अनुपस्थिति के बावजूद, विद्यालय में 4,088 पुस्तकों वाली एक समृद्ध पुस्तकालय है। विकलांग बच्चों के लिए कोई रैंप की आवश्यकता नहीं है क्योंकि विद्यालय सभी के लिए सुलभ है। प्रौद्योगिकी-संवर्धित शिक्षा के लिए, विद्यालय में 10 पूरी तरह से कार्यात्मक कंप्यूटर और एक कंप्यूटर-एडेड लर्निंग लैब उपलब्ध है।

The institution is equipped with five functional toilets for girls, though it does not have any boys’ toilets. Despite the absence of a playground, the school boasts a well-stocked library containing 4,088 books. There is no requirement for ramps as the school is accessible to disabled children. For technology-enhanced learning, the school provides 10 fully operational computers and a computer-aided learning lab.
